WARM KNITS!

Happy December dear ones!

And just like that we are on the final leg of the year.

So how does your personal appraisal look like?

You pleased with yourself and what you set to do this year?

If not, challenge yourself to do more and be more next year and maybe just try to see what you can do these next few days to make a difference.

Yes, The Manor 540.

That was my shoot location this time round.

At the heart of Westlands just a few minutes drive from the CBD, The Manor540 is not your regular run-of-the-mill restaurant.

From the signage at the gate to the image of the building at the entrance you get this antiquated vibe going on only for you to move closer and see the beauty that lies therein.

The fresh air that greets you at the entrance and the lush green grass just before you get to the patio is perfect for events hosting or a family reunion considering the big space, it gives you an up-country vibe to it with a majestic touch and a home away fom home feel.

The brown woven seats lining the patio, the beautiful chandeliers and the brightly coloured rooms each with their own individual look, one cannot  help but love this picturesque setting.

Mostly known for their local/African cuisine, The Manor 540 is the place you want to be when you need a break from the regular fast food joints found in most places.

And if you are a private person or for one reason or another would love some quiet and privacy as you wine and dine, there are separate well-furnished rooms with beautiful ambience to help you with that.

For the corporates who are coming for a quick lunch break then dash to the office, they have a beautiful set-up at the back. We weren’t able to get snapshots of it because the rain had littered the place and it was being cleaned up.

After breathing in all that beauty, we had to get down to our business of the day.

I had an afro but my awesome hair stylist, Jeff Ndunda, who had come with a whole artillery got creative with it and came out with this look.

Just so you know how talented he is, this hair ain’t braided. It’s all pinned up.

Thanks Jeff :).

My skin is yet to heal from the last hair-do I had and I was trying as much as possible not to have this hair fall on my face since I react to synthetic hair.

Since the weather has been behaving in such capricious ways what with the outpour we’ve experienced the past few days, I thought to do a stylish but snuggly look with this lovely knitted Zara sweater I got at Store 66.

Ladies, you may want to visit their stores, they’ve got some really cute stuff and I’m especially in love with the bags and shoes.

This is just a first of the outfit shots I took at The Manor 540, do subscribe so as not to miss out on the follow up looks.

How are you keeping warm this evening?

Or better still, how would you rock this knitted sweater, it has a double side slit by the way. Otherwise it would have been perfect for a sweater dress.

Keep it #FnD.

Winnie.
