What are the odds that two teetotallers would be invited to the opening of a wine bar and actually say yes?

This came a few days after our first wine-tasting event at Slater & Whittaker as seen here.
I must say, I was pretty umped when Crystal called me and I was eager to see how this second wine journey was going to fair.
Fair on well it did.
On arrival, we were greeted by Diana Opoti who had set up a table outside and she made us feel at ease as we waited for other patrons to arrive.
Since we had a press pass, we were given a first glimpse into the new look bar and we got to take a couple of shots there, oops, photos :), shots could mean something else considering the post.
The bar-tender sure knew his way around and made us a couple of mixes to try out. I found him really friendly and approachable, which is definitely a plus.
On the bar counter was this bowl full of lemons. You will normally see lemons being added in most wine drinks, if you didn’t know, the the effect of the lemon, as of other sour ingredients, is to diminish the acidity of the accompanying wine, making it taste softer and sweeter.
I didn’t know either, I had to research that since my inquisitive mind couldn’t let that pass.
Then I had to do a mini-interview and it was one of those, I hope it wasn’t so obvious I’m a fresher in this.
This wall arrangement was just amazing and creative and a smart way to utilise space while creating beauty at the same time.
It was a pretty awesome night, met amazing people, made connections and at least they had non-alcoholic wines for babies like us :).
Would I go there again, most definitely.
