FEAR FACTOR – Overcoming it!

 Ahoy my minions!

Today we tackle the subject of fear on the blog.

To start us off;

Have no fear of perfection – you’ll never reach it.

How many times have we been held hostage by fear?

Be it fear of the unknown, fear of failure or fear of whatever kind?

Fear can actually be a good thing because it makes you more aware of your surrounding and current situation and may work for your end good if channeled wisely.

Unfortunately most times, that’s not the case.

If you are human, at one point or another you will have to deal with this scary monster.

Some times, it comes in the form of a tiny mouse and you can just scare it away, other times, it comes in the form of this ugly creature that leaves you breathless and speechless.

Whichever way it comes, don’t allow it to cripple you. Yes, it may scare you, but don’t allow it to get the better of you preventing you from being or doing what you are required to do.

With God on your side, you have all you need to rise above the fear and come out victorious.

So soldier on.

Here are some inspiring quotes on the same:

One of the greatest discoveries a man makes, one of his great surprises, is to find he can do what he was afraid he couldn’t do. Henry Ford

Fear keeps us focused on the past or worried about the future. If we can acknowledge our fear, we can realize that right now we are okay. Right now, today, we are still alive, and our bodies are working marvelously. Our eyes can still see the beautiful sky. Our ears can still hear the voices of our loved ones. Thich Nhat Hanh

Fear stifles our thinking and actions. It creates indecisiveness that results in stagnation. I have known talented people who procrastinate indefinitely rather than risk failure. Lost opportunities cause erosion of confidence, and the downward spiral begins. Charles Stanley

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Psalms 23:4

What are those things that have held you back because of fear?

Review them and rise above.

I love the quotes and the outfit. The top, the jeans….LOVE!! For me if there’s one thing that has held me back, it’s my shyness but I’m working on it.

The top just does it for me👌👌. I tend to think fear is just in us.. When you have God everything is sorted. Love the Psalms 23.

True that. I guess we just learn how to master it and that can only be done by God and in God :-).
